Charity Letters

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this on the blog before, but one of the ways I can raise money is by writing letters to charitable trusts and hoping they will give me money in return for newletters while I'm away. I was supposed to do this as soon as I got back from my selection course (in August-whoops!) because some of the charities only meet once or twice a year. So I am pleased (and slightly ashamed I've left it so late) to announce that I've nearly got 200 charities and will be buying hundreds of stamps and letters tomorrow morning. My letter to the charities is being proof-read as I type by a friend who is knowledgeable in these things so all going to plan, I should be sending out by Thursday!
